About Me

I've been working with technology for as long as I can remember, starting with early coding projects and expanding into a multidisciplinary education in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Law. My background—first in STEM, then in Law—was a conscious effort to bridge two worlds: the structured, deterministic realm of nature, machines, and mathematics, with the complex, rule-driven domain of human systems, business, and governance. This unique combination enables me to act as a kind of Rosetta Stone between technology, business, and law—translating between domain-specific languages to align intentions, expectations, possibilities, and goals. Whether working with engineers, executives, or legal teams, I focus on clarity and precision, ensuring that technical realities and strategic objectives are understood across disciplines.

My career has spanned Tech, Finance, and FinTech, with a focus on developing efficient, scalable, and forward-thinking solutions. In early 2023, I shifted my focus entirely to artificial intelligence, applying structured thinking to develop AI-driven systems that drive real-world impact.

Originally from Canada, I've lived in Asia since 2006, spending most of that time in Japan with my wife and daughter. Immersing myself in a different culture has given me a global perspective on technology and collaboration. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Japan, trying regional cuisine, and staying engaged with the coding community—both as a contributor and a constant learner.

Despite my interest in technology, I never lose sight of its ultimate beneficiary: people. Technology exists to serve humanity, not the other way around. As innovation accelerates, we must also elevate ourselves—remaining our best as humans. I believe trustworthiness, responsibility, and dignity are more important than ever, and I hope to carry that message forward in everything I do.
